B-A-N-A-N-A-S. Nora tried bananas and some rice cereal tonight. She seemed to enjoy them. In fact, she would get quite excited when she saw the spoon coming her way. So adorable.

mmmmm good bananas! I made a few trays of different foods last week. Sweet potatoes, squash, and bananas. It's super easy to just grab a cube from the freezer, warm it up a bit, and have it ready for Nora. I like that I know it is all from organic fruit and veggies too.

I went to buy Nora a warm coat today but didn't like anything I saw. So, I bought her this fuzzy sweater instead. Hopefully it will be okay for a little bit until I find a cute coat. This may give you a glimpse of the weather here in Chicago...quite chilly. I love the fall though. It is my very favorite season. Nora enjoys it too. We went for a walk today with Baily and the chilly weather didn't bother her a bit. She loves going for walks now.

I am a horrible mother. I let Nora suck my thumb sometimes. She started doing this a long time ago when she wouldn't take a pacifer or the bottle. Now, she will take the bottle no problem and usually a pacifer. However, I don't want her to get too attached to a pacifer. We were having some snuggle time on the coach and she found my thumb. I realize I could have easily pulled it out of her mouth, but whatever. It is one of those things I will always remember about my little girl. She likes to suck on mommies thumb. I've become quite a germ freak, so I don't want anyone elses thumb in her mouth. But, yes, every once in a while, she can have mine. :)

She's ready for Paris!
