30 and
PREGO!
Sad, but true, I turned 30 on Thursday. Ugh.
I woke up really excited it was my birthday because I always get like that on my birthday; however as the morning progressed, I became more and more crabby (all before 8am). I think it was sinking in that I was actually 30 years old. However, I quickly realized, I have so many blessings in my life and am extremely fortunate that I have a little one growing inside me and feel quite healthy.
The morning turned out really great too. As many of you know, I teach students in a self-contained classroom. I also have the
privileged of working with some amazing woman in my classroom every day. They were so kind and
surprised me with cake and cookies and a little party in the morning.
TJ even surprised me by bringing
donuts for the kids.
My students thought this was the best morning ever because I gave them cake and donuts at 10:00 in the morning. One student also keeps telling me, the baby is going to "hop" out. Wouldn't that be nice?
Anyway, 30 isn't so bad. I had a great weekend, went to a lovely dinner with
TJ, and am so fortunate for all of my
friends and family and our baby. I pray daily that the baby is healthy and continues to be throughout the pregnancy.
