Well, this precious little boy was born on May 14th around 10:30 pm. He weighed 7lbs. 8oz. and was 21in. long.
Vinnie's birth weight is the smallest of all 3 kiddos, but they each measured 21in or 21 1/2 in. Which is pretty neat.
Vinnie was due on May 11th and since I was on time or early with the others, I thought for sure he would be early.
You could imagine our restlessness when his due date came and went. The discussion of an induction by the doctors made me nervous. I was doing everything I could think of to move things along.
After countless walks and bouncing on an exercise ball along with spicy food and alot of false labor, Vinnie was ready on May 14th!
In fact, I gave up trying to move things along on Wed. night and decided to make a yummy steak dinner. While buying a few things at Whole Foods I was starting to feel back contractions. I dismissed them. We got the steaks on the grill, I was making some other food and sure enough as soon as we were ready to eat, I told TJ we had to go to the hospital. :)
This sweet little guy was born 4 hours after we got there.
Both Nora and Teddy want to hold Vinnie constantly, or touch him or sing to him.
While the adjustment has been a little tricky- I love seeing everyone's love and affection to our sweet little guy.
