sick, sick, sick

Well, it's been over 3 weeks now and we have all been SICK, SICK, SICK. It started the weekend of Easter and Nora got really really sick. She hung onto the virus for a good 2 weeks. Then, TJ got sick which took about a week, then I got sick and my throat still hurts, and Teddy got really sick.
Nora experienced her first ER visit. She had a 104. temp, which scared us cause we couldn't get it down.  Looking back, ER probably wasn't the best choice. It scared her and had no meaningful result.
Teddy is still getting over his double ear infection. Our sitter also got pretty sick.
Luckily, these are all virus and we are recovering.
Sick little sleeping baby. Nights have been pretty rough around here.
On a side note, the weather was crazy today. There was so much rain, our school was cancelled at the last minute. The picture above is the street 1 block away from us. I feel awful for the people in the houses near here. They had to be evacuated!
So, we had some fun on our day off! Once the power came back on that is. Nora is quite the actress. He doesn't stop talking! I honestly believe there wasn't a moment today that she stopped talking. She still enjoys re-enacting plays or movies. She would be content doing that all day long.

Today, she went out on a whim and dressed for a "fancy dance party". She got out of her bathing suit she was in most of the morning, which I believe was inspired by the rain induced pond in our front yard, and changed into the outfit below while I was putting Teddy down for a nap.

When TJ got home, I took Nora for a walk in the neighborhood to splash around. She had a blast until she saw a big fat worm and screamed.
Teddy did not like the fact that his sister was outside and he wasn't.

My lil' man is 18 months old!

This handsome lil' guy is 18 months old already!  He continues to be the sweetest little man EVER!  He is always "on the go", doing everything his big sister does, charming us with his sweetness, and surprising us with how much he learns day to day.
He is very tall! Exact height, I am not certain of, but tall.
He is a hefty lad. 30lbs. which is helping to keep my arms tone. :)
He is fast as all heck.
He loves burying himself in blankets or cushions.
He has many words and says a new one almost every day now. He loves trains and trucks. And continues to enjoy screaming, then clapping his hand and saying "bravo"

He has had more haircuts at this point then Nora ever has. He is a curly head just like his sister.
He loves to pretend to drive (thank you to my mom for showing him this one day). There are days it is now difficult to get him in his carseat because he wants to "dive" (drive).
