Yummy Dinner!

We had a lovely Sunday. Despite the crummy weather on Sunday, we were all able to meet up for a deliciously dinner to celebrate my parents 34 years of marriage. We had a great time, and Nora was well behaved as usual! I suppose, it isn't that difficult to be well behaved when all the attention focuses upon you.
She loves her daddy. He was trying to eat her pasta and she would have none of that!
She kept herself busy staring down the waiter going in and out of the doors.

Deer in headlights. Happy Anniversary Nana and Papa, we love you!
Nora's uncles and aunt are always making her giggle.
I told her she could have one piece of bread. She took 3 at one time instead. hmmmmm?
Ahh...getting tired.

And this is a random photo that I had to include. She seems to LOVE balloons!

Up to new tricks!

Nora is discovering so many new things. She crawls around super fast (looks like a Lizard when she is really going) and loves to play with anything she could get her hands on.
I thought this was so clever of her.
Happy Friday!

YIKES!

Not much new going on here, but I am starting to get ready for Nora's 1st birthday and I am a wee bit nervous. Excited, but nervous. Our house is tiny and if it rains...YIKES!
But, we have so much to celebrate. We are blessed with a healthy little girl that makes me ache with love every day. She recently started to give real kisses when asked and makes the "MWA" sound while doing it. Before, they were open mouth kisses that she gave 3 out of every 10 times requested. Now...she passes them out willingly!
Here's a few recent pics. of our 11 month old dolly girl...
Check out those teeth!
And yes, I am still nursing her.
What a silly face. She has so many expressions.

We found this little chair and matching table at our church resale last weekend. It couldn't be more perfect to be placed right next to the big chairs around our fire pit.

Easter Weekend!

Be prepared, there are a lot of pictures. I just cannot believe how fast time is going now that Nora is in our lives. She is growing up so fast. She amazes me more and more with each passing day. Can you believe how big she is getting?
Today, she is 11 months old!
She crawls everywhere now super fast. She especially loves crawling to the sliding glass door to get on our backportch. However, while she was teasing Bailey, and eating her snacks, she spilled them everywhere which amused her.
This picture just makes me smile. She loves being outside and going for walks. We need it after our LONG winter. That smile is the BEST! (I think anyway)
We all went to the park the other day to see what she thought of the swings this year. She loves it!
I love swinging too, so I joined her. (TJ did too)
Daddy is so much fun!
We went to dinner to a place that was on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. It's called The Shanty. It was a good 40 min. away, but my cousin lives near the place and it worked out perfectly to meet her and her family there. Nora loved being entertained by her cousin Taylor. She gave her MANY bear hugs.
Then, the Easter Bunny came. He or She, was very generous to little Nora. That bunny left things at her Grandma and Grandpa's house and they had to send it to her; at Aunt Lesli's house, and Nana and Papa's house, and Nora's house. WOW! I love the basket we got her. I am looking forward to seeing it year after year.
She loved her cookie monster bath towel!
And her bunny ears were quite adorable. However, she does not like keeping things on her head as much any more.
We were able to skype with Grandma and Granpa while she opened all her lovely gifts. She really enjoyed her new sippy cup with a straw and so many other toys and clothes.
Nora got all dressed up for church, brunch, and dinner. Daddy and her matched and looked pretty stinkin' cute. "yeah, I love attention mommy!"
It was a really gorgeous day on Sunday. Nora is spying all the Easter eggs she is about to find.
"ooh, I see an egg Nana, it's right there"
"Yup, I've got it"
There were a few eggs in the dirt and we would put Nora down to get them, she Hated it. She wouldn't touch the dirt. I have no idea what that may foreshadow but I am a bit concerned we have a little one that is not going to like getting dirty. We shall see.
That funny bunny left some really neat little people at Nana and Papa's.

Nora and her uncles. Remember to rub their heads for good luck Nora. (hee hee)

We are so happy we get to experience holidays in a whole new way now.
We will leave with this face. Happy Easter. We hope everyone had a happy, healthy, and blessed Easter.
