We had such a great weekend with friends at a wonderful, peaceful cottage in Indiana. It was such a nice trip because each couple has a child/children and we can all respect bedtimes, naps, kids that need to eat at a certain time, or just rest. It was perfect. We really appreciate the invite and had a blast.
I didn't think Nora would like the water, but I was so wrong. She LOVED the warm lake water. She also loved playing in the sand.
The kids loved playing on the pontoon boat. We did take it out into the lake but had to imporvise when the motor got a little funny. Our friend Laura is super woman and she swam back, TJ joined her, got the paddle boat and wanted to pull the pontoon behind us. Anne and I joined her in paddling, rowing, and pulling while the boys sat with the kids on the pontoon boat. (Go Dayton CREW!)
We forgot to take a picture of all the kiddos, so this is one of the girls before we left. Paddy left with his dad to go to the store at this point. He definitely would have made the photo more complete.All in all, a great get away weekend that the kids and parents enjoyed! Thank you so much Wallers!
