I am 34 weeks preggers right now. This pregnancy is going SO fast. Nora is quite aware of the baby and loves being told she is a "big sister". When we ask her what the baby's name is, she says "Chester". This is TJ's fault. He named her bitty baby Chester (which is not funny in my opinion) and unfortunately, the name has stuck for Nora. So, now, she calls her soon to be baby brother or sister-"Chester" as well. I promise-the baby's name WILL NOT include Chester in any part of it! Sorry Nora.
We have been really busy changing our spare bedroom to a Big Girl room for Nora and the nursery ready for a baby again. I am on a desperate search for the perfect bookshelf for her room. Not much luck with that yet. However, Nora has started sleeping in her BIG Girl Bed and for the second night now, she is doing great! Therefore, I probably just jinxed us.

This weekend included a great deal of running around, and a fun bbq with family! Nora LOVED playing with her cousins. She likes to hug everyone, which we are noticing not ALL children enjoy. But, we are working on it. I’ll make an attempt to describe what I am talking about…

Me: “Nora, do you want to play with Avery? Let’s go say Hi”

Nora: “K mom”

We walk over to Avery

Nora: “Hi Avery….big hug?” and without waiting for a response, she invades personal space of Avery and gives her a big hug.

Good thing they are cousins.
