I have not posted in a very long time. Not too much new going on here, just busy as usual. We are trying to check off things on our every growing list of "things to do" before baby number 3 joins us.
This long winter has hit us all pretty hard. The kids have been sick quite a few times, as have we, and our sitter. But, hopefully, nicer weather and sunshine will be in our near future. Along with a new member of our family. :)
Teddy and Nora are very excited about the baby. They talk about the baby often, kiss my tummy, and have even joined me for a few dr. apts.
They play so nicely together. It is so fun to watch them make things up together, giggle, and develop such a cool relationship.
Teddy speaks so clearly and loves to share all sorts of information. He can count well, recite the abc's, loves listening to stories, and always wants to keep up with the big kids.
Nora wants to prove she can "do things all by herself" lately. She continues to be extremely caring for others, and is interested in writing lately, or making little books. She has quite a sense of humor as well.
For some reason, both kids seem to think the word "poop" is the funniest word of all time.
I probably shouldn't even post this, but tonight while we were giving them a bath, I said...
"want to see my magic trick?-poof- you're a bag of poop".
She then tooted in the tub. I said "NORA" oh my gosh, you are a lady! She then said "Oh yeah, well that was my magic trick".
She offers us many laughs.
Bowling with some friends a few weeks ago.
Just being silly! We seem to dress up often around here and they are constantly building forts. Honestly, with all the toys they have- I think we could just have blankets and they would be happy.
Merry Christmas
